The last Gilllam to run the business before the hand over. He was a well known maker and silversmith. In this time George ran the business by himself for many years. In the london census he is listed as a silver smith for over 40 years.

N OTICe is hereby given, that the Partnership hereto- »^ fore subsisting between George Gilliam, Henry • Gilliam, and William Gilliam, carrying on business as Silversmiths, at No. 6, Serle-street, Lincoln’s-inn-fields, in the county of Middlesex, under the style of Gilliam and Co., has been dissolved, by mutual consent, as from the 2nd day of April, 1889; and that all debts due to or owing by the late firm will be received and paid by the said George Gilliam and Henry Gilliam, who will in future carry on the business on their own account.— Dated this 2nd day of April, 1889.
